All music has been specially mastered for vinyl by Joe Caithness and is pressed to heavyweight vinyl. The gatefold sleeve is adorned with artwork by developer Leenzee, representing protagonist Bai Wuchang.
Set in the land of Shu during the Ming dynasty, the score reflects a world plagued by warring factions, a mysterious illness, and spawning monstrous creatures. The music captures the solemn beauty of the landscape and the dread lurking beneath it, blending traditional Chinese instruments and powerful vocal performances with grand orchestral arrangements and ominous vocal performances.
Together, the music and artwork form a release that feels both elegant and ominous, an artefact worthy of the fallen dynasty it represents.
