Over a decade in the making and lovingly curated by Mexican journalist, musician and DJ, Carlos “Tropicaza” Icaza & dublab radio founder and LA Phil Creative Producer Mark “Frosty” McNeill, A LA ALTURA is sourced from original tapes and masters featuring unreleased, long out of print and private–press recordings.
Volumes 1 & 2 feature 25 visionary artists who were actively engaged in a form of consciousness raising, whether by questing for the stars through their music or by elevating the artform itself. Just as boldly, these two volumes make the statement that Mexican artists and composers like Luis Pérez, Arturo Meza, Jorge Reyes, Ana Ruiz, and Antonio Zepeda should be spoken in the same breath as Michael Rother, Terry Riley, Hiroshi Yoshimura, and the many other artists who have been rightly feted for their spirit of experimentation.

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
