‘Avalanche’ follows Tusks’ debut album ‘Dissolve’, which saw cathartic anthems like ‘Last’ and ‘Toronto’ (a track now with over two million Spotify streams and counting) draw comparisons to Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, Daughter and Cinematic Orchestra, being championed by BBC Music’s Lauren Laverne and Annie Mac, MixMag, DIY, LOBF, MOJO, 405, Wonderland and more.
Tusks (Emily Underhill), is a seasoned architect of cinematic and reflective music. Her returning album is both brooding and atmospheric, radiating with fuzzy bass and Underhill's signature dreamy vocals.
Borne from electronic beginnings, her new material encompasses a greater wealth of influences, ahead of the curve as it arrives yet at its core emanating the familiarity of a Tusks record. “I got really into My Bloody Valentine, Foals, Marika Hackman, Wolf Alice and a lot of female-led grungy guitar music,” she says. Her inspirations for ‘Avalanche’ weren't solely musical, though: the sweeping mountainous landscape of Iceland played a big part in the album's evolution, with photos taken by Emily from a trip there forming the artwork for the album.

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
