Tropical Gothclub “City Killer” is the second album by Dean Fertita to be released 27th November in conjunction with Record Store Day Black Friday 2026.Dean Fertita has been at the heart of American rock ‘n’ roll for almost two decades, from his role as an invaluable member of Queens of the Stone Age and The Dead Weather, touring keyboardist with The Raconteurs, and backing musician on records by Jack White, Karen O, Iggy Pop, Brendan Benson, The Kills, Beck, and more. While his own music had been the focus in his role as lead singer, guitarist, and founder of The Waxwings and on recordings as Hello=Fire, Fertita began TROPICAL GOTHCLUB with no clear mission for a solo album under his own name. In 2022, TROPICAL GOTHCLUB released the self-titled first album on Third Man Records. Now, the follow-up album “City Killer” is ready to be released, including musical contributions from John Theodore (QOTSA), Grammy Winner producer Dave Feeny, Alison Mosshart (The Kills. The Dead Weather). “City Killer” also features the following musicians: Jon Theodore (QOTSA, formerly The Mars Volta) on drums, Jason Pierce (Our Lady Peace) on fake drums.
