Known for their 1965 hit “Keep On Dancing,” The Gentrys were a Memphis garage rock band that joined Sun Records as it moved to Nashville in 1970. This collection of rare grooves and previously unreleased lost tracks from the Sun vault showcases The Gentrys, led by iconic WWE manager and personality Jimmy Hart, as produced by the visionary Sam Phillips’ son, Knox Phillips. It’s Been So Long shares a softer side of the band, blending Laurel Canyon style harmonies with their Memphis rock sound.
