Twenty years after its original release, ‘Posthumous Silence’ is back - and sounds as timeless as ever.
With this double vinyl re-release, Hamburg-based progressive rock band Sylvan celebrate the 20th anniversary of a record widely regarded as one of the most significant concept albums in the European prog scene.
Originally released in 2006, ‘Posthumous Silence’ marked an artistic peak for Sylvan - an album of atmospheric depth, emotional intensity and musical complexity that captivated fans and critics alike, firmly establishing the band among the leading names in contemporary progressive rock. To this day, no Sylvan show is complete without music from this album.
Now, for the first time, this work arrives on vinyl, newly remastered for the analogue format, spread across two LPs and presented in a revised artwork that does justice to the music and will certainly hold a few surprises for fans.
The anniversary release accompanies Sylvan’s 20th Anniversary Tour in October 2026, on which the band will perform ‘Posthumous Silence’ in its entirety - with Blind Ego joining as special guest.

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
