Spotlights release Rarities, a remastered nine-song compilation of early and rare tracks spanning the band’s full discography on Jan 30th via Ipecac Recordings.
Rarities traces the band’s evolution, from their debut single to standout tracks from their 2023 Séance EP. After relocating from San Diego to New York in 2013, the band released their first EP, Demonstration, in 2015. That was followed by the Spiders EP and their full-length debut, Tidals, in 2016 – releases that drew attention from artists like Deftones, Shiner, If These Trees Could Talk, and ultimately led to their signing with Ipecac Recordings.
Now, after a decade of releases, the band is reflecting on these songs, all of which are appearing on vinyl for the first time. Rarities is available on limited-edition vinyl in black and clear variants (limited to 500 copies each) and digitally. Spotlights join A.A. Williams for a European trek across the UK and Europe in Jan/Feb 2026. Spotlights is Mario Quintero (guitar, vocals, keys), Sarah Quintero (bass, vocals), and Chris Enriquez (drums). The band has released four albums: Alchemy for the Dead (2023), Love & Decay (2019), Seismic (2018), and Tidals (2016). Widely praised for their mastery of heaviness and nuance. Brooklyn Vegan said Spotlights “balances the pretty with metallic sludge,” Revolver basked in their “fuzz-soaked doominess,” Kerrang! declared their music as “heavy and romantic,” and Blabbermouth succinctly shared: “Spotlights is a perfect example of beautiful, melodic heavy music that isn’t afraid to break the mold.”

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
