The first of four planned chapters, ‘Signals in Autumn’ focuses on the music of British band Strawbs, a group that evolved from bluegrass to folk, prog and hard rock, launching icons like Rick Wakeman (Yes) and Sandy Denny (Fairport Convention).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePasich aimed not for a basic cover record, but to showcase the rich songwriting of Strawbs’ 1973-1978 era with fresh, contemporary ears. Co-produced by keyboardist Sasha Smith (Cat Power, Ariana Grande), the album features a stellar line-up: guitars - Val McCallum (Jackson Browne, Sheryl Crow) and Adam Gimenez (Paris Jackson), rhythm section - Kurtis Keber and Jordan West (Grace Potter’s backing band), keyboards-Paul Trudeau (Billy Idol), vocals-Bernie Barlow (The Moody Blues), Vanessa Bryan (Lady Gaga), Holly Palmer (David Bowie) and Jordan West.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRecorded in just five days at Dave’s Room Recording Studio, the project serves as the launchpad for future releases in the spirit of The Alan Parsons Project.
