Signal Meridian reimagine Strawbs classics on debut album ‘Signals in Autumn’ on Blue Élan Records featuring members of Grace Potter, David Bowie, Moody Blues and The Killers.
Signal Meridian aren’t a forgotten 1970s art-rock group, but an elite collective of session musicians and vocalists brought together by label cofounder Kirk Pasich to reimagine overlooked song catalogues. The first of four planned chapters, ‘Signals in Autumn’ focuses on the music of British band Strawbs, a group that evolved from bluegrass to folk, prog and hard rock, launching icons like Rick Wakeman (Yes) and Sandy Denny (Fairport Convention).
Pasich aimed not for a basic cover record, but to showcase the rich songwriting of Strawbs’ 1973-1978 era with fresh, contemporary ears. Co-produced by keyboardist Sasha Smith (Cat Power, Ariana Grande), the album features a stellar line-up: guitars - Val McCallum (Jackson Browne, Sheryl Crow) and Adam Gimenez (Paris Jackson), rhythm section - Kurtis Keber and Jordan West (Grace Potter’s backing band), keyboards-Paul Trudeau (Billy Idol), vocals-Bernie Barlow (The Moody Blues), Vanessa Bryan (Lady Gaga), Holly Palmer (David Bowie) and Jordan West.
Recorded in just five days at Dave’s Room Recording Studio, the project serves as the launchpad for future releases in the spirit of The Alan Parsons Project. Pasich plans to continue exploring exceptional songwriting across genres, with live tour dates currently in development.

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
