SeùlSeùl is the debut album by the ensemble Séismes.
A playful, radiant and generous album, improvised by the six musicians. And for each of them, a world of her own. An endlessly rich entity, an ever-changing realm of sounds, impulses, objects and obsessions. These worlds built together instant compositions, fueled with energy and depth, drawing on powerful dynamics.
A tapestry of sound is crafted: voices echoing, with or without a vocoder, sometimes through the flutes; strings are bowed, struck and altered; drumheads are scraped and scratched. Each layer, as it blends with the whole, sparks something, creates a shape, a pattern, a slightly pop song, a flowing theme. Playing with the rules, making conventions slippery and blurring boundaries, the musicians elegantly bring the material to a boil to create a shifting texture. The colours shimmer, the sea creatures are carefully groomed, water keeps flowing, carrying with it vivid Korean poetry. Birds may come and sing in our hair, and at last, we can look at the world without glasses.
On this recording, Séismes upheld this approach, with a broad spectrum, every possible path explored, and every unlikely detour welcomed.
In Korean, SeùlSeùl evokes a gentle flowing motion, softly skimming the ground as it moves along.

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
