Spawning three singles, including the UK top ten hit ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ and the global smash, perennially synced ‘Ready To Go’, Republica’s self-titled debut album achieved platinum sales in the UK and charted across Europe and Australasia in the latter half of 1996.
Still fronted by the irrepressible Saffron Sprackling, the band are touring the UK this Autumn to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the record, which is now being reissued as a special edition on red and black ‘cornetto’ vinyl (inspired by Saffron’s hair, of course).
It comes with a second, bonus LP featuring the group’s complete, powerhouse performance at the August 1997 Day At The Races event at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. Six tracks were made available briefly on CD at the end of that year. The remaining three, also mixed and mastered from the original multi-track sources, are released here for the first time.

REFUNDS
