Ranking label around 1977–78, Rastafari In Dub stands apart
from conventional dub records of its era. Rather than relying
solely on studio wizardry, Ras Michael & The Sons of Negus
fused sacred Nyahbinghi drumming, Rastafarian chants and
deep roots rhythms with a stripped-down, meditative dub
aesthetic, creating a uniquely spiritual and atmospheric
listening experience.
A towering figure in Jamaican music, Ras Michael helped bring
Nyahbinghi traditions from the grounation yard into the wider
reggae world, influencing generations of musicians while
preserving the heartbeat of Rastafarian culture. On Rastafari In
Dub, that heritage is transformed into an entrancing dub
journey where thunderous hand drums, hypnotic percussion
and cavernous rhythms merge into one of the most distinctive
roots recordings of its time.
Long regarded as a holy grail among reggae and dub
collectors, original Jamaican pressings have remained scarce
for decades. This deluxe reissue faithfully restores the album's
original presentation, including Errol "Irie" Myrie's striking
sleeve artwork, while offering the best audio quality the album
has ever received.

In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
