It showcases the eclecticism of the Saravah label’s producer – a pioneer of world music – and the razor-sharp lyrics of a great poet of French chanson, inspired by Brazilian rhythms and jazz. From Maurice Vander, Francis Lai and Baden Powell to the Japanese electro-pop scene of the 1980s, via Jacques Higelin, Areski Belkacem and the Quebec-born Michel Rivard, this double compilation – carried by the soft, intimate voice of the wanderer Pierre Barouh – sheds light on the thread of years and encounters that shaped his work.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Editons Saravah","offers":[{"title":"2LP","offer_id":54969458065731,"sku":"RPT-35941","price":32.99,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"2CD","offer_id":54969458098499,"sku":"RPT-35942","price":15.99,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0821\/1601\/8499\/files\/SRD_20261023_1759_172303_540_p_SHL2146CD_049.jpg?v=1793113744","url":"https:\/\/www.recordplant.co.uk\/products\/pierre-barouh-chansons-choisies","provider":"Record Plant","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
