To mark its 60th anniversary, the legendary Saravah label is releasing an anthology by its founder: Pierre Barouh’s ‘Morceaux choisis’
*Les Chansons choisies* offers a journey through Pierre Barouh’s recordings from the early 1960s to the 2000s, featuring well-known tracks (La Bicyclette, Ce n’est que de l’eau, Samba Saravah…) and previously unreleased sessions. It showcases the eclecticism of the Saravah label’s producer – a pioneer of world music – and the razor-sharp lyrics of a great poet of French chanson, inspired by Brazilian rhythms and jazz. From Maurice Vander, Francis Lai and Baden Powell to the Japanese electro-pop scene of the 1980s, via Jacques Higelin, Areski Belkacem and the Quebec-born Michel Rivard, this double compilation – carried by the soft, intimate voice of the wanderer Pierre Barouh – sheds light on the thread of years and encounters that shaped his work.

COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
