After decades of anticipation, Nas and DJ Premier join forces for Light-Years, their first full-length collaborative album, released via Mass Appeal. A partnership written into the very DNA of hip-hop, the duo’s history stretches back to 1994’s Illmatic, where they first united on classics like ‘N.Y. State of Mind’, ‘Memory Lane’, and ‘Represent’.
Their creative bond deepened through the late ’90s and early 2000s with landmark cuts such as ‘I Gave You Power’, ‘Nas Is Like’, and ‘N.Y. State of Mind Pt. II’, tracks that helped define both artists’ unmistakable sound. Light-Years represents the culmination of that shared legacy — a reunion that’s been teased since their 2006 Scratch Magazine cover and reignited last year with the single ‘Define My Name’, celebrating Illmatic’s 30th anniversary.
Closing out Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It... series, Light-Years serves as both a celebration and continuation of the duo’s enduring influence — a record built on history, chemistry, and the timeless artistry that has shaped hip-hop’s past, present, and future.

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
