Junko Yagami’s classic 1985 album ""Communication"" is finally reissued on vinyl in a stunning blue clear color vinyl edition.
Celebrated by fans of Japanese “Wa-mono” and city pop, this album marks Junko Yagami’s first release after moving to the MOON label.
Featuring arrangements by Shirou Sagisu, Ken Yajima, and Masaaki Omura, the album delivers a rich and diverse sound blending 80s R&B, electro,
and reggae influences.
The album includes ten tracks such as the fully realized 80s R&B track "Imagination", the single "Cheater" known as an insert song for the TBS drama
"Yurusenai Kekkon", the title track "Communication", and the electro-reggae tune "Johannesburg".
Highly sought after by collectors and gaining strong popularity overseas, it remains a standout release.
For this reissue, the album has been newly remastered and freshly cut for vinyl, bringing enhanced warmth and depth to the sound.
