"As far back as I can remember, Boise has been the place to be. I can remember riding the school bus for seven hours to see it on a school trip back in junior high. Since then, I've visited many, many times, and spent many nights of music with the friends that I've made there.
I'd been thinking about making a record of a live performance someplace special to me and my own history. When the opportunity came to do just that in Boise's Cathedral of the Rockies, I knew that the time was right. It was also my great luck to be able to play the show with my friend, the remarkable Sam Kassirer, at the piano.
