Ghosts Of Our Former Selves is the words and vocals of Theo Brehony and production of Fred Ala surrounded by a core family - guitarist Sanderson Rocha and multi-instrumentalists Harry Hayward and Jonny Wengrowe
Theo and Fred are both award winning musicians from London, formerly signed to major labels. Between them, they have stories to tell - they've worked with iconic artists like Beyonce and Elton John and legendary producers like Gus Dudgeon (Elton John) and Robin Miller (Sade). Theo co-wrote and sang on the Freestyler's global hit Push Up.
Sirens is the third album from Ghosts Of Our Former Selves. It's a turning point where the band decided to embrace their love of roots music and Americana. GOOFS were looking for the sanctuary of an authentic core sound where everything in the world seemed inauthentic and confusing. This new album brings together folk rock and soul with a unifying bittersweet nostalgia at the centre of all the songs. You can hear that in the way Sirens was made.
