Following a series of raw independent recordings throughout the 1990s, the band signed with Republic and Universal Music Group,\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003ereleasing two major\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e‑\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003elabel albums Through the Eyes in 2001 and Endangered Species in 2004. Breakups, lineup changes, and internal conflicts affected the\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eband for much of the decade, though from 2015 to 2017 they reunited with three core members to tour and write new material.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOriginally released at the height of the early\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e‑\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e2000s alt\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e‑\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003emetal wave, Flaw’s explosive debut Through The Eyes quickly became a defining record of the era.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLed by the unmistakable voice of Chris Volz, the band crafted a sound that fused emotional intensity, sharp guitar work, and melodic hooks that resonated\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003ewith a generation.
