Thirty years on, Polythene remains a sharp and direct debut that introduced Feeder as a serious force in British alternative rock. To mark the Gold certified album’s anniversary, it returns in a brand new fully remastered package to mark its 30th anniversary.
The release is available as a 1LP colour vinyl edition and a 2CD set. Alongside the original album, the 2CD features the 1996 rare mini-album Swim, which was reissued as a special full length in 2001, offering a clear snapshot of the band’s early sound and songwriting. The addition of Swim provides further context to the album’s creation, making the 2CD anniversary edition the most complete presentation of Polythene to date.
Including hit singles ‘High’ and ‘My Perfect Day’, Polythene stands as a key release of its era.
