Shapefarm and Laced Records are braving the deadly Storm Wall and the perils beyond to present brand-new songs from the intergalactic co-op adventure game Orbitals on 7” vinyl
To honour the retro anime aesthetic of Orbitals, composer duo Falk & Klou have teamed up with legendary J-pop vocalist Mami Ayukawa, known for singing themes for classic ’80s sci-fi anime including Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and Heavy Metal L-Gaim
The 7" includes the euphoric main theme and end credits theme, alongside karaoke/instrumental versions of both tracks on Side B.
The custom packaging is inspired by classic 1980s Japanese 7" vinyl design, and includes a printed sleeve and a lead sheet music insert featuring key art from the game.
The game is published by Kepler, who also published the 2025 smash-hit game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
It benefits from global marketing support from Nintendo as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive game
