The deluxe edition features two brand new tracks, ‘Fruit In The Sun’ and ‘As Far As We Know’, alongside the first-ever physical release of ‘Maybe, Finally’. It also sees dodie revisit four fan favourites at Middle Farm Studios, reimagining the songs alongside her closest friends and giving each recording its own unique new title.
Originally written between London and Los Angeles and produced alongside Joe Rubel (Maisie Peters, Griff, Sigrid), Not For Lack Of Trying finds dodie reflecting on falling in love, breaking up, comparison culture and struggles with depression, while learning to be patient with her own creative process. The deluxe edition opens that world up further, bringing new songs and fresh interpretations to an album rooted in the ongoing search for meaning, connection and clarity.
