Deaf Beat Vanguard is an italian funky prog rock band, delivering an unique blend of groovy progressive rock with funk, blues and jazz influences mixed with an ironic attitude and experimental-oriented contaminations. “Libido-induced Anabasis” is a concept album based on one of the most classic characters of all time: the Devil. It tells the tale of a picaresque protagonist, trapped inside a role that he doesn’t fit anymore and the tragicomic journey through this identity crisis. Groovy, ironic yet meaningful, this album is meant to blend the virtuoso techniques of progressive rock with the playful and sexy vibes of funk dancefloors.
