On Tuesday 22nd September at 3pm, Warp are announcing 10 year anniversary editions of Danny Brown’s 2016 album Atrocity Exhibition.
Atrocity Exhibition was Danny Brown’s first album released on Warp Records in 2016. The album featured collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt, Kelela, Alchemist, Ab-Soul, Petit Noir, Evian Christ and more.
Atrocity Exhibition is now regarded as a legendary album in Danny’s discography, hip-hop/rap, indie music and Warp’s own discography, and one of their best selling vinyl titles globally.
ABOUT THE RELEASE
Celebrating a decade since the release of this landmark hip-hop album, Warp are proud to present special edition formats of a modern classic.
Boasting features from Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt, Ab-Soul, Kelela and B-Real; production from Paul White, Alchemist, Black Milk, Playa Haze, Evian Christ and Petite Noir; and mixed by Derek ‘MixedByAli’ Ali as the cherry on the cake. The melding of Brown’s unique flow and tone with an innovative soundscape, pulling samples from such esoteric sources as 70s German cosmic rock records, radiophonic experiments and industrial techno, set a new high watermark in experimental rap, with tracks like “Really Doe” and “Ain’t It Funny” becoming leftfield anthems.
For the tenth anniversary, original sleeve designer Ed Davis has come up with new alternate artwork, with the limited 2LP colour vinyl edition housed in shiny silver mirriboard packaging, printed inner sleeves and an 8 page 12” booklet.
The CD version is housed in an 8 panel mirriboard card wallet, also utilising the alternate artwork, and comes with a bonus disc containing previously unreleased instrumental versions of all the tracks on the album.
Both of these are one time pressings that will not be available again.

REFUNDS
