What started as a simple combination of the words “Pain” and “Mainstream” soon evolved into the album’s central theme. In a world filled with uncertainty, conflict and division, pain is one thing all humans share. Rather than separating us, Blind Channel explore the idea that pain can unite us, reminding us of our common humanity. Throughout Painstream, the band examines pain from personal, societal and existential perspectives, while also uncovering something unexpected: hope.
The album was born from a period of creative soul-searching. Letting go of outside expectations, Blind Channel focused solely on writing the songs that felt true to all five members. The result is a collection that captures the band’s essence more authentically than ever before. Massive soundscapes, crushing riffs and cinematic production reflect the album’s fascination with the fragility of human life against the vastness of the world and the universe around us.
Highlights include the riff-driven “Diana”, a reflection on humanity’s tendency to tear each other down despite our shared vulnerability; the powerful and live-ready “No Encores in a Swan Song”; and the uplifting “Stars We See”, which transforms an existential crisis into a celebration of life’s meaning. Elsewhere, “Into The Void”, featuring Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men, looks to the stars and questions humanity’s future, while “Messiah” explores faith, fear and spirituality through a towering, cathedral-like sonic landscape.
At its core, Painstream is an album about unity, healing and the courage to keep fighting. It marks a significant evolution for Blind Channel, embracing growth while staying true to the intensity and energy that have defined the band from the very beginning. More than ever, Painstream sounds like five individuals united as one voice.

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
