As blacktoothed approach their third full-length album since signing with prominent heavy music label Arising Empire in 2020, the band is shaping up once again to show new facettes to the world. Set for release in January 2027, FERAL BLOOM holds the German trio’s most personal, emotional, and sonically uncompromising work to date.
Across 11 tracks, vocalist Hendrik Rathgeber, guitarist/vocalist Mathilde Keitel, and drummer David Sommer explore the complexity of raw felt human emotion, giving strong interpersonal vibes that seek to connect to their listeners in a quite therapeutic way.
Musically, FERAL BLOOM expands on blacktoothed’s signature element of musical variety by intensifying the spill of shouts & breakdowns whilst maintaining their known-for soulful vocal-duality and playful guitar solos. Moreover, this album seeks to initiate something beyond lyrical storytelling—a feeling, a connection, or even an inner psychological encounter.
To bring the record to life, blacktoothed once again teamed up with producer Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay) and Vince Ebicht at Sawdust Recordings. Longtime creative collaborators Peter Leukhardt handled the visual storytelling through the album’s music videos, while graphic designer Marius Rietze returned to create the artwork following the band's 2025 album HEADWAY.
Recorded across multiple sessions over 18 months, FERAL BLOOM emerged from a process the band describes as equal parts creativity and chaos. Yet from that unpredictability came a record defined by honesty, connection, and a renewed embrace of the band's heavier side.
So, with creative chaos, a lyrical theme & a great amount of passion to their heavier side, blacktoothed are headed towards releasing their wildest, deepest & longest record to date - here’s to a feral bloom of new blacktoothed music!

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
