Across four sessions recorded between 2012 and 2023, Ben Caplan – 2 Meter Sessions captures the evolution of the Canadian singer-songwriter through a series of previously unreleased live studio performances.
Together, these recordings trace the evolution of his songs, arrangements and approach to live performance - from the energy of a full band to the intimacy of a duo and the freedom of performing solo. Each session reveals a different side of the artist, preserving moments that might otherwise have disappeared into the past.
Recorded live in historic Dutch studios, these sessions capture the performances in exceptional audio quality. With ever-changing line-ups, unusual instrumentation, unexpected collaborations and Ben Caplan’s unmistakably powerful voice at the centre, the collection showcases the intensity, versatility and sheer presence that have made him such a compelling live performer.
At the heart of the album is something uniquely precious about live music: the knowledge that a performance happens once, then becomes part of the past. RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
