ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN 1988 ON RED EYE RECORDS, SOUR MASH FINDS THE BEASTS OF BOURBON MOVING INTO DARKER AND MORE UNPREDICTABLE TERRITORY, EXPANDING ON THE RAW ENERGY OF THEIR EARLIER WORK WITH A HEAVIER, MORE TWISTED EDGE. THE SOUND IS THICK AND BROODING, BUILT ON GRINDING GUITARS, SLOW-BURNING RHYTHMS, AND A WORN, BLUES-SOAKED VOCAL DELIVERY THAT PULLS EVERYTHING INTO A LATE-NIGHT HAZE.
