Antillia, the fourth LP from NY/Virginia otherworldly sci-fi death metal outfit ARTIFICIAL BRAIN, signals a new chapter for one of the bands to herald the newer-age of technical, spacey sci-fi death metal
The trilogy, that began with 2014's Labyrinth Constellation and followed up with 2017's Infrared Horizon and 2022's self- titled LP, is now complete and ARTIFICIAL BRAIN have now evolved and morphed into a new wondrous specimen with Antillia, to be released Nov 13th via the band's longtime label Profound Lore Records.
Featuring the founding- member core of guitarist Dan Gargiulo and bassist Samuel Snith, Antillia is the first album to feature recent ARTIFICIAL BRAIN vocalist Mike Paparo of Inter Arma, guitarist Oleg Zalman and the band's newest member, drummer Alex Tomlin.
With Antillia, ARTIFICIAL BRAIN have presented their darkest and possibly their most mercurial album to date. With more kinetic and dynamic structures still upholding the technical death metal pedigree, Antillia enters a moodier disposition, one focused heavier on ambience, aura, and even melancholy.
Antillia signals the new era for ARTIFICIAL BRAIN, one of the pioneers of the new wave of Sci- Fi death metal that they forged with the acclaimed trilogy that consisted of Labyrinth Constellation, Infrared Horizon, and 2022's self- titled LP (with each album selling 6K+ units). Now featuring new vocalist Mike Paparo (Inter Arma), Antillia is ARTIFICIAL BRAIN's darkest, most dynamic and intricate album to date.
