Different Strokes For Different Folks are proud to present the first ever vinyl reissue of Al Basim's legendary 'Revival' album, originally released via private press in 1979
Including elements of out-there guitar jams, spiritual jazz, kosmiche soaked rock and Middle Eastern ambience, this is truly a record to live with.

'Revival' documents Baghdad-born musician Basim Al-Hashimi's once in a lifetime trip to the U.S in 1978 where his concoction of Arabic styles with the Western '60s and '70s rock so beloved of his youth came together to produce a record almost impossible to categorize. Led by his melodic guitar playing, the band move from psychedelic excursions through to meditative ambient sections, jazz inflected grooves and joyful, progressive motifs. Licensed directly from Basim Al Hashimi himself, this reissue package includes an interview with the man himself, outlining his journey towards the creation of both his U.S experience and the masterpiece it produced, as well as photos sourced from his personal archive.
Despite several attempts, 'Revival' has never been reissued before, so Different Strokes For Different Folks are delighted to release this milestone once again.

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
