Polish violinist, composer and improviser Adam Bałdych is one of the most distinctive violin voices in contemporary European jazz. He is widely recognized for expanding the language of jazz violin beyond virtuoso display into a highly personal sound combining jazz freedom, classical precision and contemporary chamber music.
He has performed across Europe, Asia and North America, including appearances in countries such as Germany, Japan, China, South Korea, the United States, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Spain and Indonesia.
Bałdych has collaborated with leading international artists including Paolo Fresu, Leszek Możdżer, Lars Danielsson, Iiro Rantala, Helge Lien, Nils Landgren, Marius Neset, Yaron Herman and Aaron Parks.
His music appeals across jazz, classical and world-music audiences. ‘Endless’ introduces the new Adam Bałdych European Quartet: Adam Bałdych on violin, Daniele di Bonaventura on bandoneon, Jacob Karlzon on piano and Michel Benita on double bass. Four outstanding musical personalities meet in a rare chamber-jazz formation, creating a sound world shaped by silence, trust and deep listening.
Recorded in the resonant space of the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice, the album feels less like a performance than a spiritual journey. Bałdych’s violin leads the music inward, lyrical, fragile and prayer-like, while bandoneon, piano and double bass respond with subtle gestures, shared breath and luminous restraint.
Rather than seeking spectacle, ‘Endless’ offers concentration, patience and beauty. Its music moves between jazz improvisation, classical clarity and contemplative stillness, asking what remains when the noise of the world falls away.

REFUNDS
