Formed around Chicago soul guitarist Danny Leake and featuring a nine-piece lineup, 100% Pure Poison left behind just one album before achieving cult status
among collectors and music aficionados. Originally released exclusively in the UK in 1974, Coming Right At You has since become one of the most celebrated
and sought-after albums in the rare groove canon. Among its many highlights, “Windy C” stands out as a perennial favorite, prized for its sophisticated groove,
soulful musicianship, and timeless appeal.
The B-side features “No More City, No More Country,” another fan favorite renowned for its irresistible rhythm and distinctive percussion break. Making this
release even more desirable, the track appears in its full-length version on 7-inch for the very first time.
