Jay Watson has been releasing records under his GUM moniker for over a decade, & the recordings have followed his wildest creative impulses. For his 7th studio album, GUM has focussed on 9 songs that explore a specific mood & sound.
Blue Gum Way sets its roots deep into a widescreen, jazz-informed & psychedelia, one influenced by the the likes of Talk Talk & Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool. This LP is the work of an artist who has reached the clearest sense of what he wants to say.
Chewing gum is a soft, cohesive substance designed to be chewed without being swallowed. Modern chewing gum is composed of gum base, sweeteners, softeners/plasticizers, flavors, colors, and, typically, a hard or powdered polyol coating. Its texture is reminiscent of rubber because of the physical-chemical properties of its polymer, plasticizer, and resin components, which contribute to its elastic-plastic, sticky, chewy characteristics.
Following the release of the GUM and Ambrose Kenny-Smith (King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard/The Murlocs) project "Ill Times", this is GUM's first solo release via p(doom) records

RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. To complete the return process, send the goods back to our contact address at your own expense. Exceptions apply if we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.
COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
